Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Holoop Labs website and, unless separate terms are provided, our software services. By using a service, you agree to the terms applicable to it. If you do not agree, do not use that service.
You must be able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use a service on behalf of an organisation, you must have authority to agree for that organisation.
2. Our products and services
Holoop Labs is an independent software studio based in Malaysia. We build SaaS products, browser extensions, web and mobile applications, and other software. Available features, usage limits, and supported platforms are described by each product.
Product-specific terms disclosed to you may supplement these terms and control where they conflict for that product. Descriptions of future ideas are not commitments to deliver a feature.
3. Accounts
Where an account is required, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not impersonate others or use an account you are not entitled to access.
4. Acceptable use
Use our services lawfully and in a way that respects others. Do not use them to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malicious software, obtain unauthorised access, bypass usage limits or security measures, or disrupt a service.
Only submit or process content you have the right to use. Third-party services and content remain subject to their own terms and permissions.
5. Intellectual property and your content
Holoop Labs and its licensors retain rights in our software, branding, website design, and original materials. These terms allow you to use a service as offered; they do not transfer ownership of it.
You retain your rights in content you provide. You permit us and relevant service providers to process that content as necessary to deliver the features you request, subject to the applicable privacy notice and product terms. Rights in third-party content remain with their owners.
6. Paid services and subscriptions
Prices, billing currency, included features, usage limits, taxes where applicable, and billing intervals will be shown before purchase. A recurring subscription renews as disclosed at checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal.
By purchasing, you authorise the disclosed charges through the selected payment provider. We will communicate changes affecting future subscription charges before they take effect as required, so you can decide whether to continue.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel using the product’s available billing controls or contact support@holooplabs.com for help before the next renewal. Unless the product’s disclosed terms state otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period.
Uninstalling an extension or app does not by itself cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy, any product-specific policy disclosed at purchase, and applicable law. Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund.
8. Availability and changes to services
We work to provide useful, reliable services, but availability can be affected by maintenance, technical issues, or changes to third-party platforms. We do not promise uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device or future platform change.
Features may change, and a service may be suspended or discontinued. Where a material change affects a paid service, we will provide notice and any remedy required by applicable terms or law.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, services are provided as available without additional warranties beyond those expressly stated or required by law. AI-generated summaries and answers may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check important information against the original source and do not treat generated output as professional advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Holoop Labs is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of a service, such as lost business opportunities. You remain responsible for your decisions based on software output and for maintaining copies of important content.
This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when necessary to address a material breach of these terms, unlawful use, security risks, or a legal requirement. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using a service at any time. Subscription cancellation and outstanding payments remain subject to the applicable billing terms. Contact support about account closure or retrieving content; do not assume access will continue after termination.
12. Updates and contact
We may revise these terms as our services evolve. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where required; changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
